is secluded within 80 acres in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire overlooking the Ammonoosuc River
and Mountains.We are just minutes north of the famed Franconia Notch State Park, and everything the Notch is known for –
Cannon Mountain, glacial basin, aerial tram, Flume Gorge, Lonesome Lake, Echo lake, waterfalls, covered bridges, fishing, hiking, downhill skiing, XC skiing, snow shoeing,
snow mobiling and much more. We are also within a short ride to the cog railway, Mt. Washington, Crawford Notch, Pinkham Notch. Enjoy the spectacular
vibrant colors of Fall Foliage, or just sit back and relax on our 150 foot New England porch and enjoy the natural wonders of the White Mountains from the Inn.The towns of Franconia, Sugar Hill,
Littleton, Bethlehem, Woodsville and Bath surround it. We are only minutes from Franconia Notch State Park and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
New York(5.5hrs), Boston(2.5hrs) and Montreal(3hrs) are all within a short drive.
Melanie's
Bistro Chef and owner Karen Melanie, a graduate of the French
Culinary
Institute and the Pastry Arts Center, who relocated from NY to the
White  Mountains of New Hampshire in 2004. With her 25 years experience, guests can
enjoy her New American Cuisine in an upscale intimate candlelit filled atmosphere in Melanie's Bistro with some of the most scenic views in New
Hampshire.
